Located in the heart of historic downtown Springfield, in one of the fastest growing metropolitan areas and tourist centers in Illinois, the President Abraham Lincoln Hotel is known for its easy access to all of the Lincoln Sites, plus the New Salem Village Historic Site. The President Abraham Lincoln Hotel is the closet hotel to the new Abraham Lincoln Presidential Museum and Library, just a short easy walk. "The President" is also within walking distance of the State Capitol Complex, the Old State Capitol Historic Site as well as the Lincoln Herndon Law Office and the Lincoln Home.
For the 2010 P of A Great Lakes Regional Conference, the hotel is providing rooms at a nightly standard room rate of $84, with up to four occupants per room. (The current corporate rate is $139, showing what a great rate they are giving us.)
The hotel is also extending the reduced room rate to all attendees for three days before and three days after the conference (depending on availability), allowing you extra time to visit the Springfield sites.
Reservations must be made by individual attendees, and must be accompanied by a first night room deposit, or guaranteed by a major credit card.
